How did you come to music?
I started singing when I was in junior High school. I sang at Church and in school choir. I used to live in Vancouver back then, and Sandi Simens, a voice teacher in Vancouver who taught Michael Bublé (very famous guy!), discovered me and encouraged me to pursue music. I didn’t become the next Michael Bublé, but she opened my eyes for Opera!
Are you currently learning something new?
I’ve been trying to learn how to taste wine. It’s been a few months and I did find some of my favourite ones. However, I also gained some weight through the wine-tasting process...maybe I should take a break?;) I especially learned that German Pinot Noir wines are surprisingly good!
Dog or cat?
Absolutely Dog! The world is so much better because of dogs. When my current living circumstances change, the first thing I’m going to do is get a dog. I also like cats, but their claws kind of scare me. It really hurts when they attack.
