What do you love most about singing?

What I love most about singing is the feeling I get right after I sing my first note in a performance. We all spend countless hours working on our technique and attempting to learn our pieces perfectly, but when it comes down to the night of the performance, you really just have to let go and trust that once you open your mouth, all of that hard work will have paid off. If you can do that, it honestly feels like the weight of the world is lifted off your shoulders and you can let your voice out and just be yourself.

How does your perfect day off look like?

My perfect day off starts with taking my puppy for a walk - I have a corgipoo named Jenna that I got in September of 2021! Then of course I'd have to stop for a coffee, since I can't function without it! I would probably spend the afternoon with some friends, and then go back home, make something to eat - probably nachos - and watch a Toronto Raptors game since I'm a huge basketball fan. That would be a great day off already, but if I could somehow make all of that happen while walking on a warm beach, that would absolutely make it the perfect day off!

Time Machine or Magic Wand?

I'm going to have to say magic wand, because I could maybe come up with a spell for time travel anyway! Even if that weren't possible, I think I would still prefer a magic wand because it's so much more versatile! A time machine would let me travel through time, sure, but imagine everything you could do with a magic wand! The possibilities are literally endless - one swish and flick of a wand and you can have your home cleaned, with another you could teleport yourself across the world, and again to have anything you can think of appear out of thin air! To me, the magic wand is the clear choice.
