What fascinates you about opera?

What fascinates me most about opera is the heightened storytelling; the way it uses voices and music in such a powerful way to communicate a character’s innermost being, and to help us as an audience connect with their character and their emotion. I love the range of characters that can be found in opera, and how each has their own unique musical identity that communicates who they are.

How does your perfect day off look like?

My perfect day off would be very lazy! I would likely spend most of the morning relaxing in bed, but once I’m up I’ll be in the kitchen. I love cooking and baking, so for me an ideal day would be spent having friends round and preparing them a great meal. I’m also very into tabletop gaming, so we would spend the evening playing Dungeons and Dragons together!

Chocolate or Vanilla?

It has to be chocolate!
