Siying Tian

Tian Siying is currently completing a Master’s in music at Beijing Normal University. The soprano has been taking singing lessons since she was six years old. Since 2011 she has gained experience on stage in various roles, including Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, Violetta in La traviata and the Countess Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro. In 2016 she also sang the role of Jinzi in the opera The Wilderness as part of the Young Opera Artist Workshop. In the same year she played the leading role in the Chinese musical Huang Sijie. Tian Siying has already enjoyed success in numerous competitions. In 2017 she was a finalist in the Romanian Hariclea Darclée International Voice Competition. She also won the Bronze Award at the 11th Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music. In her spare time the Chinese singer also likes to spend time reading and jogging.
