Multiple award-winning Canadian pianist Anne Larlee is one of the most remarkable young accompanists of our time. She follows each singer with sensitivity and dedication, without relinquishing her own artistic character that is comfortable in a wide range of styles. The musician recently organized recitals with Dominique Côté and Simone Osborne, enjoying an overwhelming reception.
Following commitments at the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto and Komische Oper Berlin, Anne Larlee has been active as a tutor and coach at Oper Frankfurt since the 2016/17 season. She has collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists at the aforementioned opera houses as well as at Calgary Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Wigmore Hall in London, La Maison de la Radio in Paris, and numerous prestigious festivals. The pianist has also worked with Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, Berlin University of the Arts, and Wendy Nielsen’s Opera Workshop.
Anne Larlee completed her piano and repetiteur studies at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Boston University, Conservatoire national à rayonnement régional de Nice, and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
